Red Bean Smoothie

All Stirred Up! Flavor Profile

We'd like you to meet Red Bean, the most asked about flavor on our menu. Red Bean is a Chinese dessert flavor featured in many sweet soups and cakes in Chinese cuisine. It is made by boiling and mashing azuki beans, then sweetening them with sugar or honey. Our red bean smoothies can be topped with authentic red bean paste giving you a unique Chinese experience. Red Bean is almost never mixed with other flavors and true enthusiasts ask for Red Bean paste on both the top and bottom of their Red Bean flavored smoothie.

We are Stirred Up for Taro!

All Stirred Up! Flavor Profile

We'd like to introduce you to Taro, one of our unique tea and smoothie flavors. Taro is a root commonly used within Chinese cuisine in a variety of styles, mainly as a flavor enhancing ingredient. The taro cake is a delicacy traditionally eaten during the Chinese New Year. It is used in desserts and as a flavoring in ice cream. McDonald's sells Taro flavored pies at their stores in China. At All Stirred Up! Taro makes a delicious and unique bubble tea, smoothie or ice cream smoothie flavor. Our customers rarely mix the flavor so they can enjoy the unique taste of pure Taro. It is similar to vanilla or almond and is light purple in color.

The life cycle of the 400 million cups of coffee consumed in America each day.

The life cycle of the 400 million cups of coffee consumed in America each day.

Once coffee is planted, it takes about 3 years to produce what is called a coffee cherry. That is the flower found on the plant itself. Months later, once ripened, the cherries are picked and washed and dried. The fruit of the cherry is removed leaving only the seed. At this stage, coffee is called "green". Green coffee is ready to be roasted. The roasting process applies heat to the beans, changing the chemical properties and infusing it with its flavor. Green coffee can be roasted from very light to very dark. It is the roast that has the greatest effect on a coffee's taste. Once roasted, coffee is ground and brewed. Finally, ready to enjoy black or with your favorite cream and sweetner. Now you know.

So Just What is Bubble Tea?

So just what is bubble tea?

Bubble Tea originated in Taiwan in the 1980's. It is green tea or black tea served cold with chewy tapioca pearls, known as "bubbles". There are two varieties of bubble teas: fruit flavors or milk teas. The bubbles add a texture to the drink more than a taste, as they have no real flavor to them. We have several tea flavors to help you create your own variety of bubble teas and bubble milk teas. We also recommend stirring up our fruit jellies in your bubble tea for added texture and flavor! Each bubble tea comes with one scoop of bubbles or jellies.

Have you ever tried a Bubble Tea, if so what do you think? We would love to hear your opinions.
